Signed by the artist, lower right. Presented in a frame made in an ornate foliate scroll design, encrusted with semi precious stones. A suspension ring is on the top. Countess Amalie Maximilianovna Adlerberg, 1808 to 1888, was an illegitimate daughter of Duchess Therese of Mecklenburg Strelitz, fathered by Bavarian diplomat Maximilian Emmanuel Graf von und zu Lerchenfeld auf Kofering und Schonberg.
