Included are Ball, a story Irina Nemirovskaya, published in Berlin by Parabola in 1931, The Electric Chair, a novel by Sholom Ash, published in Leningrad and Moscow by Kniga in 1928, and The Stories by Boris Pilniak, published in Moscow by Federation in 1932.
