A collection of antique Russian books including translations and studies of classical works. Afanasy Fets Russian translations of Elegies of Sextus Propertius, 2nd edition, 1898 and Virgils Aeneid, Part 1, 2nd edition, 1902, both published by A. F. Marx in St. Petersburg, as well as Elegies of Tibulus, 2nd edition, 1898. Also featured is Nikolai Blagoveshchenskys Horace and His Time, 2nd edition, Warsaw, 1878. From the Russian State Publishing House series, the collection includes Petronius Arbiters Satyricon, 1924, as part of the Library of World Literature, and Aristophanes Theater, 1927, covering Clouds, Wasps, and Birds from the World Classics series. Lastly, Fets translation of Juvenals Satires, 1885. Antique Russian Books And Bibliophilic Collectibles.
