An antique Japanese, Meiji era, covered enamel over copper snuff bottle with a stopper. The exterior of the ware is enameled with polychrome medallions with butterflies and blossoming flowers on the turquoise ground surrounded by floral, and geometrical motifs made in the Cloisonne technique. The neck and the base of the ware are adorned with polychrome scaly and circular ornaments made in the same technique. The stopper is encrusted with a Carnelian stone, on the top.
