A vintage Central African Aduma hand painted and carved flag mask from Gabon. The mask has a very elongated shape, with four holes for the eyes. The upper part of the item is painted with geometric shapes like a flag in white, red, and yellow. Aduma masks are characterized by their flat surface, their domed foreheads, angular noses, and small openings for eyes. The mouth is often minimal or omitted.
