The ware features a hand carved nephrite jade blade, adorned with gilt silver overlays depicting garlands, scrollwork and foliage motifs at the base. The handle is covered with a cobalt blue enamel over a patterned guilloche ground. The finial is made in a cone design set with an aquamarine gemstone, adorned with an engraved oak leaves ornament.
