An antique late 19th-century miniature painting on enamel. The artwork represents a full-length portrait of Elisabeth Petrovna, Empress of Russia from 1741 to 1761. After the 1758 ceremonial portrait by Louis Tocque, now in the collection of the State Hermitage Museum, Saint Petersburg, Russia. Signed by the artist in the lower right, Latour. French gilt bronze standing picture frame with red fabric inset and ribbon finial, marked B. Altman and Co. on the backside. B.
