41 reviews

An antique Chinese wood carving set of Fu Lu Shou figurines. All three Chinese gods are represented as elderly men wearing long robes with wide sleeves, which, according to Chinese culture, denotes the high status of the person depicted. All figures are flat on the back and have suspension rings. Fu Lu Shou are the gods of the three celestial bodies considered essential in Chinese astrology and mythology: Jupiter, Ursa Major, and Canopus.
