Attributed to Paul Klee, Swiss born, German, 1879 to 1940, color pencil painting on cardboard depicting an abstract composition, 1920. Signed, and dated, on the backside. Framed. Paul Klee was a Swiss born German artist. His highly individual style was influenced by movements in art that included expressionism, cubism, and surrealism. Klee was a natural draftsman who experimented with and eventually deeply explored color theory. One of a kind artwork.
