An antique Chinese pewter octagonal lidded tea caddy with painted panels. Each facet of the body is decorated with a hand painted canvas board panel in ornamental framing with glass protection. The panels depict human and animal figures. Cylinder lid. Circa 1850 to 1899. Signed on the bottom. Collectible Oriental Asian Metalwork, Decor, Tableware And Serveware, Tea Service.
