A limited edition offset lithoprint by Henri Matisse, 1920. Titled Planche VII, the artwork depicts an elegant linear bust portrait of a woman in a wide brimmed hat with flowers. Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. Limited edition of 1000. Henri Matisse, 1869 to 1954, was a French artist, known for both his use of colour and his fluid and original draughtsmanship. Matisse is commonly regarded, as one of the artists who best helped to define the revolutionary developments in the visual arts throughout the opening decades of the twentieth century, responsible for significant developments in painting and sculpture.
