An antique 19th-century Russian Orthodox icon representing Jesus in the Christ Pantocrator iconography, known in the Western Christianity as Christ in Majesty. Mixed media painting: egg tempera, gesso, and levkas on a wood board. Silver riza or oklad with repousse decor with engraved details. Titled in Church Slavonic in the bottom middle. Hallmark of 84 silver standard and makers mark on the halo. The backside is lined with black velvet. Collectible Russian Silverware, Orthodox Christian Religious Items.
