A lot of three mid 20th century Hungarian hand made and hand painted porcelain figurines by Herend. Circa: 1950s to 1960s. The lot includes figurines of a robin bird, a goose with a very elongated neck, and Nils riding a goose. Nils is a character in the fairy tale Nilss Wonderful Journey with the Wild Geese, written by Swedish writer Selma Lagerlof. Marked with a blue ink factory stamp, on the bottom. Herend is known for its long history of producing the finest hand painted porcelain worldwide. Each Herend figurine is handmade in Hungary.
