Gilt guilloche dial with Roman numerals, marked Martin and Co., London, convex glass door. Marked 922 on the bottom. Key-wind mechanism, marked Japy Freres et Cie, Made in France. Martin and Company Ltd is an English watch and jewelry company established in 1806. The Japy family was a French dyansty of clockmakers active from the late 18th to the late 19th century.
