An antique Japanese Meiji era decorative enamel over copper plate. The plate is made in a swirl panel design. The panels are adorned with polychrome images of blossoming flowers, and reticulated and geometrical ornaments, and a flower on the center made in the Cloisonne technique. The border features floral and foliage motifs made in the same technique. The backside is decorated with a foliate scroll pattern made in the Cloisonne technique. Unmarked.
