An antique Chinese footed enamel over brass match stick holder. The exterior of the ware is covered with polychrome enamel floral, foliage, and butterfly motifs framed by a geometrical ornament against a bright turquoise background made in the Cloisonne technique. The ware is adorned with openings on the sides. Mounted on a stand with curved legs. Unmarked. Circa: early 20th century.
