An antique Japanese Meiji era enamel over copper vase. The urn shaped vase is made in a lobbed design, and enameled with polychrome medallions depicting butterflies and Phoenix birds surrounded by floral, and foliate scroll motifs made in the Cloisonne technique. The neck and the base of the vase are decorated with swirl, geometrical, and floral motifs made in the same technique. Circa: late 19th century to early 20th century. Unmarked.
