An antique Japanese late Meiji Era cylindrical shaped enamel over copper brush pot. Circa: late 19th century. The cylindrical form pot is enameled with a polychrome image of a burd and a bug in a garden with blossoming flowers made in the Cloisonne technique. The base and the neck of the ware are adorned with a geometrical pattern made in the same technique. Mounted on three legs. Unmarked.
