An antique etching on paper, A Peasant Replying, Dats Niet, Thats Not, after a work by Rembrandt. The etching depicts a man turned to the right, looking over his shoulder. There is a figure standing in the background. Signed and inscribed in the print, upper to the center. Marked with a partial watermark Arms of Wurttemberg. Rembrandt Harmenszoon van Rijn, 1606 to 1669, usually simply known as Rembrandt, was a Dutch Golden Age painter, printmaker, and draughtsman.
