A World War II Nazi German SA Ehrendolch, or honor dagger. Model M33. The stainless steel blade is garnished with etching, the motto Alles fur Deutschland, Anything for Germany, on the recto side, inscription In herzlicher Kameradschaft Ernst Rohm, In Warm Camaraderie Ernst Rohm, on the verso side. Polished wooden grip with silvered scabbard and pommel in oak leaf pattern. Brown leather scabbard with matching decor and single suspension ring. Hallmark Carl Eickhorn Solingen is on the verso side of the blade. Ernst Rohm, 1887 to 1934, was a German military officer, co-founder and leader of the Sturmabteilung, SA, the paramilitary wing of the Nazi Party.
