A set of four sterling silver salt cellars in the original box by Birks. The salt cellars are made in a shape reminiscent of a flower with soft wavy edges and a light relief pattern. All items are hallmarked by Birks Sterling. Henry Birks and Company was established in Montreal in 1879 as a retail jeweler. In 1893 Henry Birks' three sons joined the business and the name was changed to Henry Birks & Sons.
