A rare, scarce specimen of Political Memorabilia and Bibliophilic, Photography Album Portfolio for the Inauguration of the President of the Republica De Cuba, General Gerardo Machado Y Morales, dated in 20th of May of the year 1929, Havana, Cuba. The important document includes numerous photographs taken on the multiple locations used as part of the celebrations. Among those images are the first public presented images from the newly inaugurated Capitolio Nacional, A building closely inspired by the Washington DC Capitol. The Album has images of world personalities such as several Presidents of foreign republics, members of European royal houses and business leaders. General Gerardo Machado was a well known hero of the Cuban Independence Wars against the Spanish Empire, had served previously as Cuban President and 1929 was his second mandate remembered by his autocratic and dictatorial rule that led to a popular uprising and his political demise. Machado is remembered as one of the worst presidents in Cuba History.
