An ancient Egyptian hand carved Honey Agate undrilled hippo pendant figurine. Well detailed massive hippo is depicted walking. On the back of the animal, there is an elongated rectangle, in which holes should have been drilled for wearing the figurine as a pendant. The figurine is mounted on a stand. In Ancient Egypt, the hippo was considered a sacred animal, a symbol of fertility, and a protector of rivers.
