An antique late 18th-century French gilt bronze and marble mantel clock with key-wind mechanism and sun-shaped pendulum. Footed base, black and white column body with overlay floral decor, baluster vase finials and and eagle figurine on top. Round white enamel clock face with Roman numerals, marked Dupas a Paris. Movement with recoil escapement, silk thread suspension, count wheel striking. Dupas was a Parisian clockmaker active from 1791 to 1817.
