An antique Chinese hand carved yellow Jade amulet pendant. The pendant is made in a shape of a Pixiu, a Chinese mythical hybrid creature. Pixiu are considered powerful protectors of the souls of the dead, xian, and feng shui practitioners, and resemble strong, winged lions. The pendant is adorned with engraved detailed ornaments.
