An antique Chinese, Ming Dynasty, Swatow ceramic bowl. The exterior of the bowl is adorned with hand enameled cobalt blue scrolling floral and foliage motifs, raised on a low pedestal. Probably marked with a blue ink inside. Circa: 17th century. Swatow ware or Zhangzhou ware is a loose grouping of mainly late Ming dynasty Chinese export porcelain wares initially intended for the Southeast Asian market.
