A pair of rare stamps after the original painting, Portrait of Adele Bloch Bauer I, 1907, a painting by the Austrian artist Gustav Klimt, the most famous of his portraits, also known as Golden Adele, by Gustav Klimt, Austrian, 1862 to 1918. Each is signed with a facsimile signature, lower right. Framed. Gustav Klimt was an Austrian symbolist painter and one of the most prominent members of the Vienna Secession movement. Klimt is noted for his paintings, murals, sketches, and other objets dart. Klimts primary subject was the female body, and his works are marked by a frank eroticism.
