41 reviews

For your consideration, ancient Imperial China, Yuan Dynasty, circa 1279 to 1368 CE hand built pottery porcelain bowl with gentle sloped walls, discreet lobulated rim and sitting upon ring form feet. The glaze finish is in a pale hue celadon. The rim is slightly flared while its basin boasts an incised central tondo of a floral motif. A genuine shipwreck item with substantial patina and rich sea encrustations.. Great piece, the general lines are of great elegance. Provenance: Private Lumberton, Texas, USA Collection, acquired before 2010.
