For your consideration, ancient Imperial China, Ming Dynasty, circa 1368 to 1644 CE hand built pottery porcelain bowl with tall walls and squat feet. Great piece, most probably a shipwreck recovered item. The bowl has a nicely built dome shape, relatively lustrous white glaze finish in astonishing good condition. The general lines are minimalist and of great elegance. The bottom has encrustations. Provenance: Private Lumberton, Texas, USA Collection, acquired before 2010. NOTE: base is a courtesy of the auction house, not an original matching part, but a gift to our buyers.
