A collection of Ancient Phoenician burial beads made of natural mineral stones and millefiore glass. Persian period, ca. 5th century BC. Total Weight: 114 grams. Burial beads, also called mummy beads, were used as amulets. They were ornately strung around the deceased to safeguard them in the afterlife.
