A pair of large Chinese heavy green glazed ceramic figures of Foo dogs, or guardian lions, or imperial guardian lions. The male dog with a ball beneath his right fore paw, while the female one is with a cub beneath her left fore paw. Each piece is mounted on a rectangular shaped base featuring a relief floral motif.
