A fine ancient carnelian stone stamp seal dating back to the Sassanian Empire period, ca. 2nd to 5th century CE. Decorated with a carved motif to the flat side of the seal depictiing a winged male figure walking right and possibly representing an angel. The stone is horizontally pierced for suspension.
