A fine quality Russian silver gilt cigarette case. The exterior is decorated with polychrome champleve enamel Neo Russian style patterns with stylized floral and geometric motifs on a black ground. Gold washed interior. Set with a ruby colored gemstone to the clasp. Hallmarked at the rim with an 88 Russian Imperial silver standard and makers marks. Weight 100 gm.
