Pyotr Stepanovich Galadzhev, Russian, Soviet era, 1900 to 1971, propaganda watercolor painting on paper, Blue Blouse, an original maquette for the design of the poster. Signed with initials, lower right. Blue Blouse is a Soviet propaganda pop theater group that reflected in its productions a variety of themes from general political and international to the little things of everyday life, and represented a new revolutionary mass art. The theater propagated the ideas of socialism and denounced the philistine way of life. Existed from the early 1920s until 1933. Pyotr Stepanovich Galadzhev was a Soviet cinematographer: actor and artist; Honored Artist of the RSFSR 1965, laureate of the USSR State Prize 1971. From 1940, he worked as an artist at the Soyuzdetfilm film studio, which later became the Gorky film studio, where he remained until the end of his creative career. Pyotr Galadzhev starred in 36 films as a film actor, designed more than 50 films as an artist, and made three films as a director. One of a kind artwork.
