A Near Eastern, probably Sumerian, hand carved hard stone cylinder seal. The imprint depicts hunting scenes with deer and birds. Circa: 1st Millennium BC. Sumer was an ancient civilization founded in the Mesopotamia region of the Fertile Crescent situated between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers.
