The cover of the ware is covered with Guilloche enamel in a turquoise shade, adorned with overlay foliage and floral motifs, encrusted with Ruby stones and Diamonds, decorated with a figurine of an elephant, covered with Guilloche enamel in a green shade, and encrusted with a Sapphire stone on the top. The body is mounted on figural legs made in the shape of gilt Silver griffins. Mounted on a rectangular shaped base made of Jade. The base is adorned with four gilt Silver figurines of swan, and applied scrollwork motifs on the sides. The base is mounted on four legs made in the shape of eagle claws holding balls. Marked with a Russian Silver standard hallmark, a makers mark, and other marks. Total weight: 1300 g.
