A pair of miniature cast bronze figurines of Putchu Guinadji riders with horses of the Kotoko people from Chad, Central Africa. The Putchu Guinadji are metal statues of a horse and rider, originating from the Kotoko people of Chad. It is believed that, if properly activated by special ritual, these statues help relieve or diminish madness by fighting the demons they believed to cause it.
