An antique Chinese bronze incense burner. Rounded square body with figurative feet and mascarons on the sides. Decorative panels on the obverse and reverse represent animals and birds. Gilt brass inlay, silver banding and engraved details. The lid is topped with a figurine of Longma, a Chinese mythological winged horse with dragon scales, an omen of a legendary sage-ruler. Collectible Oriental Asian Decor, Metalwork, Censer.
