A pair of antique Japanese Imari-style porcelain plates. Late Meiji era, before 1912. Octagonal plate and rectangular serving dish. Hand-painted floral and geometrical patterns in cobalt blue, gold, and red. Imari ware is a Western term for a brightly-coloured style of Japanese export porcelain from the Arita region in the 17-18th centuries. Collectible Asian Oriental Tableware And Serveware.
