A mosaic artwork composed of late Imperial Rome tessera pieces, dating back to 4th century AD. The artwork was remounted on plaster base following in situ archaeological drawings. The piece depicts the classic theatrical masks of Tragedy and Comedy, each compositionally framed. Provenance: Felder Collection, Germany.
