An antique early 20th-century Austrian or German silver cigarette case with hinged lid. Polished surface. The front lid is decorated with a transfer-printed polychrome enamel image, Leda and the Swan. According to the Ancient Greek myth, Leda, Queen of Sparta, was seduced by the god Zeus who took the form of a graceful swan.
