Lot 0217: PORCELAIN FIGURINES MADE IN JAPAN A USA MID 20TH C

A lot of five vintage porcelain figurines made in Japan and USA from the mid 20th century. The lot includes a decorative elongated plate for hanging on the wall, a green carriage with large yellow wheels, a mug in the shape of a winking man in a yellow hat, and a miniature black teapot in the shape of a devil with a lid that says SALT. And also a ceramic goose, apparently a stand. All items except the carriage are marked Japan or Made In Occupied Japan. The carriage is marked Mc Coy USA. Note. Occupied Japan is the period from May 1945 to April 1952, when Japan, having been defeated along with Germany in the Second World War, was occupied by Allied forces, incl. America.
