Lot 0358: ART DECO SITZENDORF PORCELAIN PIERROT RING TRAY

A figurative porcelain tray for rings by Sitzendorf, a German manufacture that functioned in the period since 1849 until 1953. Art Deco period, ca. 1920s to 1930s. The item represents a laying Pierrot, the traditional European sad clown character. Hand-painted details. Crown mark with double-crossed S and serial number 24406 is on the bottom of the item.
