Inscribed, Arenal, 27 Madrid, lower right. Marked in the print, Lit. de J. Palacios, lower left. Signed by the artist in the print, Daniel Perea Rojas, J. Chaves, lower left. Matted. The founder of the oldest bullfighting magazine was called Julian Palacios. Palacios owned an important litho engraving workshop in Madrid which he naturally placed at the service of La Lidia. From the first issue with the famous image of the bullfighters Lagartijo, Cara Ancha, Gallo Chico, Angel Pastor and Manuel Hermosilla.
