An antique Chinese patinated cast bronze statue of Buddha. The statue depicts Naga enthroned Buddha. Mucalinda, Muchalinda or Mucilinda is the name of a naga, a snake like being, who protected the Gautama Buddha from the elements after his enlightenment. The figure is adorned with engraved detailed patterns and gold patinated. The base is engraved with traditional ornaments. Mounted on a rectangular shaped stand, engraved with Calligraphy.
