A pair of identical antique Japanese Imari-style porcelain serving bowls. Late Meiji era, before 1912. White footed dishes with lobulated borders and figurative rims. Hand-painted floral and geometrical patterns in cobalt blue, gold, green, and red. Both items have a Kanji mark on the bottom. Imari ware is a Western term for a brightly-coloured style of Japanese export porcelain from the Arita region in the 17-18th centuries. Collectible Asian Oriental Tableware And Serveware.
