Malcolm MacKenzie was an American artist, known for Common object still life painting. Malcolm Mackenzie came to New York in 1966 to study with Frank Reilly. Under his tutelage, Malcolm developed his own vision, interpreting New York and its environs in a unique and appealing style. He joined the Salmagundi Club in 1971 as Junior Scholarship member. Looking at Malcolm's paintings, one can immediately identify his work which elevated the discarded and mundane to to a higher plane, and opened the viewer's eyes to the possibilities of the ordinary. One of a kind artwork.
