An antique silver tone flute presumably made in the USA after the model by Louis Lot. Louis Lot was one of the famous manufacturers of wind instruments in the 19th century. The body of the musical instrument is engraved with the inscription L. L. LOUIS LOT, Paris 5214 Brevete. Louis Lot has been the official flute supplier to the Paris Conservatory since 1860.
