A pair of identical antique late 19th-century French gilt brass standing picture frames. Round frames with ornamental overlay. Fasces and wreaths finial on top. Round picture hole. Both pieces are marked Emaux Mathieu Deroche Paris on the backside. Mathieu-Deroche was a French photographic workshop located on Boulevard des Capucines in Paris, active from 1866 to 1908.
