A pair of mid-20th century hand-painted porcelain figurines with lace decor and gilt accents by Muller Volkstedt. The first represents a woman with a fan, model 1066. The second depicts a Rococo galant scene, a love couple on a bench, model 1043. Both items have a crowned MV hallmark and inscription Irish Dresden are on the bottom. Muller Volkstedt was a porcelain manufacture established 1907 in Thuringia. It moved to Ireland in 1962 and since then is more often referred to as Irish Dresden. Therefore this lot dates back to the first half of the 20th century. The lot also includes a miniature hand-painted porcelain carnival mask, signed by the artist on the bottom, Joel.
